Cyclones are used in industrial dust collection systems to remove airborne particles up to 50µ in air, but cyclones cannot handle fine dust particles below 10µ.

They are generally used as pre-separators prior to dust collection filters to reduce the dust particle charge to the filter. Thus, the life of the filters used after cyclones is prolonged.

They are produced from 250 m3 / h up to 25.000m3 / h. In systems with high flow rates, they are positioned side by side and their capacities are increased. These are called multicyclone groups.
