Packaged air conditioners are generally called (Rooftop) rooftop packaged air conditioners. Their biggest feature is that they do cooling, heating, filtering and ventilation in a single body. As the name suggests, they are used on the roof or outside. Package air conditioners can be used in almost every sector when applied correctly. (Shopping malls, movie theaters, supermarkets, gyms, factories, etc.)

Package type air conditioners, with their thermostats placed indoors, automatically bring the ambient temperature to the desired value. In winter, they automatically discharge the return air and use the fresh air in the outdoor environment when the temperature of the outside air is lower than the temperature of the mixture air with the help of economizers and outdoor ambient & mixing box sensors. This is called free cooling. Thus, significant energy savings are made.

However, package type air conditioners cannot provide humidity control that can be applied in air handling units by themselves.
